Captivating recount

 WALT: Write captivating recounts.
Blurb: We are learning to write captivating recounts.

Reflection: I liked how it made me remember the memories of the holiday. I didn't like publishing it because it took a long time.

  1. Hello Hannah my name is Jaelyn - Marie, I am a Year 6 student at Paihia School. I really like your blog post about “captivating recount” because I like the way you have described your blog post and that you were remembering the memories you had on your holiday. Why I also like your post is because you have explained every little detail and when you said neighborhood kids, loud ocean waves and howling wind I could see a picture of everyone of those things, nice work keep it up.
Did the lemon noodles taste like anything you have ever tasted before?

I really enjoyed reading your descriptive holiday recount and the way you used the five senses to describe what you did in the holidays. Maybe you could add a photo/drawing to go with your Captivating recount. Keep up the great writing, blog ya later! Ms Peters.
